A day in the Itria Valley

Spend a day in the glorious Itria Valley with our local guide, Giuseppe, who will take you through amazing landscapes to visit wineries, olive farms and frantoia and to the small cities of Alberobello and Locorotondo where you will see examples of Truli architecture - two of Italy's most famous UNESCO protected sites. These private tours can be arranged for 2 to 8 people, with pickups from Bari or other local towns and cities, or from any Villa, B&B or Agriturismo in the area

Barone Ricasoli - Castello di Brolio
Ricasoli is the oldest winery in Italy, meaning it has been under continuous cultivation for over 1500 years and producing delicious wines that have rolled across the palettes of Etruscans, Romans, medieval princes and modern folk alike. Today it is the largest winery in the Chianti Classico area: Brolio Castle, where Baron Bettino Ricasoli invented the Chianti "formula" in 1872, is surrounded by 1,200 hectares in the communes of Gaiole and Castelnuovo Berardino.
